Custom systems

Software that fits your operation.

When the shared spreadsheet no longer copes and no off-the-shelf product fits without bending your process, it is time to build. We start by understanding how you work today, not by picking technology.

What it includes

From spreadsheet to system.

Long projects are agreed by milestones, so you see real progress before paying for the next one.

Process mapWho does what, in what order and what they decide. The system is designed on top of that.
Roles and permissionsEach person sees their own. No shared accounts, no "use mine".
Back-officeThe screens your team works in daily. Fast and unambiguous.
DashboardsThe numbers actually used to decide, not a wall of decorative charts.
AuditingA record of who did what and when. Essential when money is involved.
Documentation and handoverSo you depend neither on one person nor on us.
Who it is for

Before quoting, it helps to know whether this is what you need.

A fit if

  • Your operation lives in spreadsheets nobody controls any more.
  • You need several people working at once with different permissions.
  • No off-the-shelf software fits without changing how you work.
  • You need to trace who approved, changed or deleted something.

Not a fit if

  • A standard CRM or ERP covers your case: it is cheaper and maintains itself.
  • The process still changes weekly: better to stabilise it first.
  • You only need to display information: a Web Pro is enough.
  • There is nobody on your side who can make decisions about the process.
Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask us.

Isn’t off-the-shelf software cheaper?

Almost always yes, and we will tell you if that is your case. Building custom is justified when adapting to the standard product would cost you more than the development.

Who owns the code?

You do, once the project is paid in full. Excluded are our own reusable libraries and components, and third-party software under its own licences.

What if we stop working together?

You keep the documentation, accounts in your name and the code. That is the point of the handover: you can continue with another team if you need to.

How is a long project billed?

By milestones agreed in the proposal. Each milestone has a deliverable and a date, and is paid against verifiable progress, not against a promise.
